Anthony Quinn’s bronze sculpture Virna pays homage to the radiant Italian actress Virna Lisi, with whom he shared the screen in two memorable films: The 25th Hour (1967) and The Secret of Santa Vittoria (1969). Their on-set chemistry blossomed into a lifelong friendship. Quinn captured Lisi’s timeless elegance in this work — the delicate contours of her face, high cheekbones, luminous eyes, and the graceful poise that made her a European icon. With flowing lines and a quiet dignity, Virna evokes the same blend of classical beauty, warmth, and sophistication that defined Lisi both on camera and off.
